This is a play on Gerrit Rietveld’s Red Blue, currently on display at the MOMA, which had a profound influence on the art world. Rietveld believed there was a greater goal for the furniture designer than just physical comfort: the well-being and comfort of the spirit.  This is an "arm-chair" version, with the same sharp lines and primary colours.
