Greene and Greene Kitchen Island

Greene and Greene were important American designers in the Arts and Crafts period.  Their pieces emphasize the aesthetic nature of structure, and were inspired by Japanese architecture. This piece could be used as a kitchen island, or high dining table with stools.  It is a traditional Greene and Greene piece, using peg construction. It is made of cherry and ebony.

This is a 1/12th dollhouse miniature suitable for a collector, and not a children's toy.
